This Navy procurement is for a Nut-poppet built to Marotta Scientific Controls drawing 281439-0005, item 25, from QQ-N-281 material. The item is SPECIAL EMPHASIS material for a critical shipboard system and carries stringent quality-system, inspection, traceability, certification, and welding/brazing requirements, including ISO 9001 and Government quality assurance at source. The resulting contract will be a DX-rated order under DPAS and is issued under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities, with final delivery required on or before 365 days after the contract effective date. Contractors must be prepared to provide the required certification data and objective quality evidence in accordance with the contract CDRLs.
