The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole-source basis under FAR 6.302-1 for 15 each of a battery charger, NSN 7H-6130-011585195-GL, part 1657613-100, TDP VER 006, with delivery to DLA Distribution, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002. The Government does not own the data or rights needed to purchase or contract repair from additional sources, and it has determined that buying the data or reverse engineering the part is uneconomical. Interested responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond or submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements, though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Based on market research, FAR Part 12 commercial-item acquisition policies are not being used, but interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item. Specifications and standards may be obtained through DODSSP/DAPS and ASSIST-Quick Search, with patterns, drawings, deviation lists, and purchase descriptions not stocked at DODSSP.
