PIPE, SML, 2.50IN
This is a Navy repair-part procurement under a total small business set-aside, with technical requirements driven by IRPOD, drawings, specifications, and MIL-I-45208 inspection/quality-assurance requirements. Contractors must maintain a Government-acceptable inspection system, follow document precedence and effective-revision rules, and comply with packaging/preservation requirements including cleanliness controls, MIL-PRF-23199 where invoked, and MIL-STD-2073 as scheduled. Technical documents are available through BPMI e-commerce with pre-registration/password, and certain drawings/specifications are NOFORN/export-controlled and require prior NAVSEA approval for foreign transmittals. Post-award, a procedure/drawing/pre-manufacturing submittal package is required within 45 days after contract award, with separate packages per contract, stock number, and item nomenclature. A complete vendor-certified report of test and inspection package is required at end of contract for NAVSUP-WSS review, and shipment authorization must be obtained from the PCO.
