This is a total small business set-aside procurement for Enersys Inc. batteries (P/N 0766-2001, with G42EP as an approved alternate), manufactured and marked per the cited specification and MIL-STD-129. The batteries must have an 18-month shelf life and be supplied with at least 85% shelf life remaining at shipment; terminals must be protected from short circuits and packaging marked “NONSPILLABLE.” The contractor must maintain a Government-acceptable inspection/quality system and comply with packaging, marking, mercury-exclusion, and applicable cybersecurity/representation requirements. At the time of material delivery, the contractor must submit a Certificate of Compliance (DI-MISC-81356) and a cure date certificate (DI-MISC-81318) to NAVSUP-WSS Code N9433, with separate certificates for each contract/NSN/nomenclature combination. Safety Data Sheets and/or GHS labels are required prior to contract award, unless the offeror specifies a different period than 60 days.
