The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 for one unit of this part, delivered FOB origin, because it does not own the data/rights needed to contract repair from additional sources and has determined that buying the data or reverse engineering is uneconomical. Interested parties may obtain relevant Military/Federal specifications, standards, QPLs/QPDs, handbooks, and other standardized documents from DODSSP/ASSIST, though patterns, drawings, deviation lists, and purchase descriptions are not stocked at DODSSP. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability or submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements, but this notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider information received solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The acquisition is not using FAR Part 12 commercial-item policies, though interested persons may identify commercial-item capability, and Free Trade Agreements/WTO Government Procurement Agreement may apply if the specified DFARS clauses are included.
