This is a sole-source procurement for a flight-critical item where the Government lacks the technical data rights to compete the contract openly. Only previously Government-approved sources are being solicited, and unapproved sources must submit extensive source approval documentation with their proposal. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. Proposals received within 45 days of the synopsis publication will be considered. Award is contingent upon the offeror or product meeting specific qualification requirements at the time of award.
