The Government intends to procure 43 units of the described item for delivery to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME. The Government holds rights to the technical data, the data package is complete, and there are no technical data, engineering, tooling, or manufacturing restrictions, with A/RMSC 1 or 2 valid. This is a Level 1 item to be acquired only from approved sources, and contracts will be awarded only to offerors whose inspection system conforms to MIL-I-45208A or equivalent as certified by a joint DCMA/NAVSUP WSS survey team. The acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns, with the specific set-aside type to be addressed in the solicitation, and award requires that the offeror, product/service, or manufacturer meet qualification requirements at time of award.
