This is a proposed sole-source contract for 7 units of a specific part, with delivery FOB Origin. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source because it lacks the data rights for the part and has determined obtaining them or reverse-engineering the part is uneconomical. While this is a notice of intent and not a formal competitive request, proposals received within 45 days (30 days under an existing BOA) may be considered.
