This is a Navy repair contract for a critical shipboard component designated as Special Emphasis Level I material, requiring teardown, evaluation, inspection, and full refurbishment of the item to “like new” or “A” condition. The scope covers refurbishing a ball and mating seats per specified drawings, including material certifications, non-destructive testing, alumina-titania/PTFE coating, traceability, and a compliant quality system. Offerors must submit a firm fixed price for the repair, plus a separate beyond repair/beyond economic repair price, and shipping costs are excluded since the government handles delivery.
