This is a sole-source Navy repair/refurbishment requirement for Fly-By-Wire Submarine Flight Critical Components (SFCC) used in critical shipboard systems, to be placed under an existing BOA. Offerors must have a valid U.S. CONFIDENTIAL or higher security clearance and comply with NISPOM; the effort includes teardown/evaluation, repair to the specified TDP, traceability, quality system, configuration control, and Government source inspection/acceptance. Pricing may be estimated or firm-fixed-price, and offerors should also provide approximate new-item and beyond-repair/beyond-economical-repair prices, but not shipping costs because government shipping/ATAC will handle material movement. The requested repair turnaround time is 365 days, with final Government inspection and acceptance required within that RTAT, and a one-year warranty applies from delivery. The resulting contract will use Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) and be DO-rated under DPAS; DD1423 inspection/test plan items may be waived if already on file at NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg.
