This is a sole-source repair/refurbishment requirement for submarine Fly-By-Wire Ship Control System Flight Critical Components (FBW SFCC), covering teardown/evaluation, repair, traceability, quality, packaging, and configuration-control requirements. The contractor will have 45 days after receipt of carcasses to complete teardown and evaluation and submit a firm-fixed-price quote for the full repair effort, with a requested RTAT of 180 days for final inspection and acceptance. Pricing may be estimated or firm-fixed, and a beyond-repair/beyond-economical-repair price must also be provided; shipping costs should not be included because Government/ATAC shipping will handle material movement. The resulting delivery order will be placed under an existing BOA, use Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV), and carry a one-year warranty from delivery. Because the item supports a critical shipboard system, OEM authorization (or distributor letter if not the OEM), source inspection, Government quality assurance, SFCC marking/traceability, and NAVSEA T9044-AD-MAN-010 compliance are required.
