This is a sole-source repair/refurbishment requirement for Fly-By-Wire Submarine Flight Critical Component (FBW SFCC) material used in a crucial shipboard system, including teardown/evaluation, inspection, refurbishment, traceability, and certification. The contractor must provide estimated or firm-fixed pricing for repair, a beyond-repair/beyond-economical-repair price, and, if available, an approximate new-item cost; shipping costs are excluded because government/ATAC will handle shipping. Non-OEM offerors must identify the OEM and provide a signed distributor letter of authorization, and the work is subject to stringent quality, configuration-control, waiver/deviation, and SFCC marking requirements. The requested repair turnaround time is 180 days, and the warranty is one year from date of delivery. Government quality assurance is performed at source, and the resulting delivery order will be placed under an existing BOA with its terms and conditions.
