This is a sole source firm-fixed-price repair requirement for submarine Fly-By-Wire Ship Control System Flight Critical Components (SFCCs). The contractor must hold a valid U.S. security clearance of CONFIDENTIAL or higher. Within 45 days after receipt of carcasses, the vendor must complete teardown and evaluation and submit a firm-fixed-price quote for the full repair effort; the requested repair turnaround time is 180 days. A one-year warranty from date of delivery applies, and the work must comply with extensive quality, traceability, configuration control, and government source inspection requirements.
