This is a contract for the manufacture and delivery of a "poppet" component (Item No. 14) to drawing 284591-0001, designated as SPECIAL EMPHASIS material for a crucial shipboard system where failure risks serious injury, loss of life, or loss of the ship. The contractor must provide and maintain a quality system in accordance with ISO 9001, and only sources with an acceptable Quality Assurance Manual are eligible for award.
