This is an amended emergency-acquisition opportunity for a parts kit for a 2.5-inch ball valve, consisting of one Teflon-coated ball made to SAE AMS-QQ-S-763 Class 304 Condition A and two seats made from Torlon 4503/4203/4203L or Ultem 1000 only (no mixed seat materials), per Marotta drawing 234648; the amendment reduces quantity. The material is special-emphasis/Level I shipboard material requiring an ISO 9001 quality system (or MIL-I-45208 alternative) and calibration to ISO 10012/ANSI Z540.3 with ISO/IEC 17025 (or MIL-STD-45662), with Government quality assurance at source. Award will be bilateral and require the contractor’s written acceptance, will be a DO-rated DPAS order, and is limited to sources with an acceptable Quality Assurance Manual; drawing access must be requested through SAM.gov with the CAGE code. Extensive certification and traceability are required, including certificates of compliance, chemical/mechanical test reports, intergranular corrosion testing of the ball before fabrication, seat material certifications, surface-waviness verification before Teflon coating, and welding/brazing procedure qualifications if applicable. CDRL certifications are due on or before 20 days prior to material delivery, with PNSY review/acceptance within 6 working days after receipt, and final material delivery on or before TBD days after the contract effective date; warranty is one year from delivery.
