This opportunity is a total small business set-aside for the manufacture of an Access Cover (Suction) for a 4-inch Combination Hull and Backup Ball Valve, designated as SPECIAL EMPHASIS material for a crucial shipboard system. The required delivery schedule is 720 days, and the contract will be DO-rated for national defense under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System. Performance requires a valid U.S. Security Clearance of CONFIDENTIAL or higher to access classified drawings, and the contractor must maintain a quality system in accordance with ISO-9001 with specific calibration and testing certifications. The material must be ASTM-B369, Alloy UNS C96400, and requires hydrostatic testing, radiography, and weld procedure approvals, with all welding and brazing per Navy specifications. The contract includes a one-year warranty on supplies and a one-year warranty on data, with inspection and acceptance at the destination (FOB Destination).
