This is a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract for the refurbishment and certification of five Fly-By-Wire Submarine Flight Critical Components (FBW SFCCs) for the U.S. Navy. The contractor must perform a teardown and evaluation within 45 days of receiving the items and provide a firm-fixed-price quote, with a requested repair turnaround time of 180 days. Performance requires strict adherence to numerous military specifications and quality systems, including NAVSEA T9044-AD-MAN-010, and involves extensive material traceability, government quality assurance at source, and specific certification packaging. The work is pursuant to Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities and will be placed on an existing Basic Ordering Agreement.
