The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a sole-source contract for the evaluation, repair, and testing of 28 Power Supply Assemblies for Ohio-class submarines. The work is in support of the TRIPER program. The justification for a sole source is that the Government lacks the data rights to purchase or reverse-engineer the part from other manufacturers. The requirement is to acquire the services directly from the actual manufacturer for a second or subsequent time.
