Although this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, responsible sources may identify their interest and capability or submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements for consideration. The part must be acquired from or repaired by a source specified on source-control or selected-item drawings under DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing/repair knowledge are not available to permit acquisition or repair by other sources, qualification testing of another part, or use of a second-source part in the intended application.
