The repair must meet oxygen/nitrogen cleaning per MIL-STD-1330, marking per MIL-STD-130, mercury-free requirements for submarine/surface ship use, and any design, material, servicing, or part-number changes require Contracting Officer approval. Contractor responsibilities include inspection/testing, quality compliance, and retaining inspection records for 365 calendar days after final delivery, with packaging per MIL-STD 2073. The warranty is for 1 year after delivery, with defects to be reported within 45 days after discovery, and an option for increased quantity is included. This is a total small business set-aside, and award consideration is limited to authorized distributors of the original manufacturer’s item who provide proof on company letterhead.
