This is an EAF spare requirement for manufacture of Bearing, FWD, a light blue polyethylene UHMW 1900 component for Navy submarines, under a total small business set-aside. The contractor must meet Drawing 7094233 and specified military/commercial standards, including material control, mercury-free requirements, marking, surface finish, quality system requirements, and first article testing/inspection with Government approval before production. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose conforming quote offers the best value, evaluated on price, delivery lead time, and past performance, with non-price factors combined approximately equal to price. The supplier must notify NSWCPD, Philadelphia Division, by email after award and two weeks before scheduled first article inspection; first article inspection is performed by DCMA-QAR at the supplier's and/or subcontractor facility, and production lot reports require NSWCPD approval before shipment. Records must be retained 365 calendar days after final delivery, and supplies carry a one-year warranty after delivery.
