This Navy procurement is a total small business set-aside for manufacturing a forward bearing for Navy submarines in accordance with Drawing 7094233, Item No. 2, using UHMW 1900 material, light blue color, and mercury-free requirements. Award will be based on best value to the Government, considering price and non-price factors of delivery lead time and past performance, with non-price factors combined approximately equal to price, and an option for increased quantity is included. The contractor must develop and obtain Government approval for a quality inspection/test plan, first article testing/inspection procedure, first article test/inspection report before production, and production lot test/inspection report before shipment, with NSWCPD Philadelphia as the acceptance activity and first article inspection at the supplier/subcontractor facility. The contract requires a one-year warranty after delivery, retention of inspection records for 365 calendar days after final delivery, and two-week advance notification before scheduled first article testing/inspection. Items must be marked, packaged, and inspected per specified military/commercial standards, including MIL-STD-130, MIL-STD-2073, MIL-I-45208/ISO 9001, and NCSL Z540.3/ISO 10012.
