The Government does not own the data or rights needed to procure/repair this part from additional sources, and it has determined that buying the data or reverse engineering the part is uneconomical. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability or submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider information received solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement, and any decision not to compete is within its discretion.

This Navy requirement is for repair of the CHASSIS, ELECTRICAL- item under CAGE 1VQH4, reference 535-100150-12884, with repair work governed by OEM specifications and contractor repair/overhaul standards. Offerors must provide an estimated full-repair price, include new-item cost for evaluation, identify exceptions, and, if not the OEM, provide OEM authorization as an authorized distributor. After receipt of carcasses, the contractor has 90 days to complete teardown and evaluation and submit a firm-fixed-price quote; the requested repair turnaround time is 39 days, and final Government inspection/acceptance must occur within the contract RTAT.
