61--LOCAL CONTROL UNIT, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF
This is a U.S. Navy repair requirement for a LOCAL CONTROL UNIT, with the contractor performing full teardown, evaluation, and firm-fixed-price repair of returned carcasses. Contractors must complete teardown and evaluation within 90 days of carcass receipt and submit a firm-fixed-price repair quote; the requested repair turnaround time is 301 days, with price reductions for failing to meet that RTAT. A 365-day option for increased quantity may be exercised, and a one-year warranty from delivery applies. Offerors who are not the original equipment manufacturer must identify the OEM and provide a signed distributor authorization letter. The contract is DO-rated for national defense under DPAS and includes requirements for MIL-STD packaging and marking, mercury-free material, and government inspection and acceptance.
