The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source for the supply of a specific diesel engine crankshaft, which is a Level 1 item to be acquired from approved sources only. The delivery location is DLA Distribution in New Cumberland, PA. The proposed contract is not for commercial items, but vendors may express their capability to meet the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of the notice. All proposals received within 45 days of the synopsis publication will be considered by the Government. Contracts will be awarded only to offerors whose inspection system conforms to MIL-I-45208A or equivalent as certified by a joint DCMA/NAVSUP survey team.
