MOTOR,DIRECT CURREN
This is a firm-fixed-price or not-to-exceed contract for the repair of direct current motors for the U.S. Navy, with all work requiring compliance with MIL-STD-130 and strict mercury-free requirements. The contractor must provide a teardown & evaluation rate, a required turnaround time (RTAT), and a throughput constraint, with price reductions of 1% per asset per month for failing to meet the RTAT. The government will handle all shipping using its system (NAVSUPWSSFA24), and the contractor must comply with Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) requirements. Final inspection and acceptance by the government is required for all assets within the established RTATs.
