58--QUAD TAPE DRIVE 2U, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF
This is a procurement for six Quad Tape Drive 2U units to be delivered to DLA Distribution in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. The government does not own the technical data rights for this part and finds it uneconomical to acquire them or to reverse-engineer the item. Interested parties have 15 days from the notice to inform the contracting officer if they can fulfill the requirement with a commercial item. Award is contingent upon the offeror, product, or manufacturer meeting specific qualification requirements at the time of award. Necessary specifications and standards can be obtained through the DoD Single Stock Point in Philadelphia.
