Quotes must be emailed to the listed contact and may be firm-fixed-price, not-to-exceed, or estimated for full repair; test-and-evaluation-only quotes will not be accepted, and unit repair price, total repair price, repair turnaround time, and cost-constraint type must be included. Award will be made only to an authorized repair source, and award will not be delayed while an unauthorized source seeks authorization. The repaired item must be mercury-free for submarine/surface ship use, marked per MIL-STD-129, inspected/tested by the contractor, packaged per MIL-STD 2073, and inspection records must be kept for 365 days after final delivery. Consideration is limited to authorized distributors of the original manufacturer’s item, with proof of authorization on signed company letterhead submitted with the offer.
