The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole-source basis under FAR 6.302-1 for four acoustic modules (NSN 7H-5845-016271502, P/N 77C961405G001, TDP VER 005) for delivery to Lockheed Martin Corporation in Manassas, VA. The Government does not own the data or rights needed to contract repair from additional sources and has determined that buying the data or reverse engineering the part is uneconomical. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond or submit proposals, though this notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Standardized Military/Federal specifications and related documents are available through DODSSP/DAPS in Philadelphia, PA, and ASSIST-Online, but patterns, drawings, deviation lists, and purchase descriptions are not stocked at DODSSP. The Government will not use FAR Part 12 commercial-item policies, but interested persons may identify a commercial-item solution to the contracting officer.
