48--VALVE,CHECK
This is a Navy requirement for a complete 1/4-inch check valve cartridge assembly built to Combination Pump Valve Co. drawing B-3180 and parts list PL-4573, Cat. No. 665-1-OX, for a crucial shipboard system where defective material could cause serious injury, loss of life, or loss of vital shipboard systems. The material is designated Special Emphasis/Level I/SUBSAFE, requiring strict quality controls including an ISO-9001 or MIL-I-45208 quality system, material traceability and certification, oxygen cleaning per MIL-STD-1330, proof and seat tightness testing per MIL-V-24109, and welding/brazing procedure qualification and approvals. Offerors must comply with Government source quality assurance, FOB destination delivery, DPAS priority rating, and, if not the OEM, provide OEM authorization and CAGE information. The contract includes an option to add quantity within 365 days after award, and evaluation will be based on the lowest aggregate total price for the total quantity including the option; pricing for the option is requested. A one-year warranty from date of delivery applies.
