VALVE,BALL
The Navy requires a complete 5-inch, 3-way ball valve built to Newport News Shipbuilding drawing 6404977 Assembly 96, engineering report 5959311C5, and engineering notice 117895, excluding the hydraulic actuator, with undrilled mounting-flange bolt holes and actuator mounting parts bagged with the valve. This is Special Emphasis material for a crucial shipboard system and requires higher-level inspection, material certifications, non-destructive testing and radiography, pressure testing, Teflon coating, CID marking, welding/brazing qualification, and configuration/waiver control. Offerors must hold a valid U.S. security clearance at Confidential or higher and be able to access NOFORN and/or Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information because the requirement includes a Confidential-level annex. Award will be a DO/DX-rated order under DPAS, bilaterally accepted by the contractor, with FOB destination and a one-year warranty from date of delivery. The requirement is a total small business set-aside, and past performance will be considered in evaluation.
