NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg is seeking a total small-business set-aside supplier for a Disk used in a size 5-inch Hull and Backup Valve Assembly, designated Special Emphasis Level I/SUBSAFE material for a crucial shipboard system. The Disk must conform to NAVSEA drawings 845-7016098 and 803-5959311 and be made from EB Spec 2937 or ASTM-B564 UNS N06625, with First Article Testing, forging sketches/FAT, ultrasonic and dye penetrant inspection, alloy identity testing, and full certification/traceability. The contractor must maintain an ISO-9001 quality system with ISO-10012/ANSI-Z540.3 and ISO-17025 calibration, submit welding/brazing procedures and qualifications for approval, and support Government quality assurance at source; FOB is destination. Award will be bilateral with contractor written acceptance, will be DO-rated under DPAS, is conducted under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities, and will consider past performance. The supply warranty is one year from date of delivery, and any new welding procedure qualification requires at least 72-hour notice to DCMA for observation.
