This is a fixed-price Navy contract for the manufacture of a specific cable assembly, issued under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities and set aside for small businesses. Contractors must be the original equipment manufacturer or an authorized distributor with proof of authorization, and must meet source control, military standard marking, quality inspection system (MIL-I-45208 or ISO 9001/2), and mercury-free requirements. First article approval via contractor testing is required, and an option allows adding additional quantity up to a cited percentage 365 days after award. The contract is DO-rated for national defense under DPAS, with cybersecurity maturity model certification requirements and various federal clauses.
