The award will be DX-rated under DPAS and is set aside for small business, and NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg will consider past performance. The contractor must maintain an ISO-9001 quality system with specified calibration requirements (or an acceptable MIL-I-45208 alternate), support Government quality assurance/source inspection, and provide required test and weld certifications plus configuration-control documentation. The item carries a one-year warranty from delivery, and any new welding procedure qualification requires at least 72-hour advance notification to DCMA with an offer to observe test-assembly welding.
