After receipt of carcasses, the contractor has 90 days to complete teardown and evaluation and submit a firm-fixed-price quote for the full repair, with a requested repair turnaround time of 153.3 days and Government final inspection/acceptance within that RTAT. An option provision allows the Government to add additional quantity up to a stated percentage for 365 days after award, and pricing for the option is requested. Repair must follow original manufacturer specifications and drawings, MIL-STD-130 marking, MIL-STD-2073 packaging, and mercury-free requirements for submarine/surface ship use. A one-year warranty from delivery applies, and inspection records must be retained for 365 calendar days after final delivery.
