NAVSUP WSS is seeking a total small-business set-aside supplier for a parts kit for a 3-inch ball valve—one ball and two matching seats—built to NAVSEA drawing 801-6408784 for a crucial shipboard system designated SPECIAL EMPHASIS material. Offerors must hold a valid U.S. Security Clearance of Confidential or higher because the solicitation includes a Confidential-level annex, and classified material must be handled under NISPOM and Industrial Security Regulation requirements. The effort requires extensive quality assurance, including material certifications, non-destructive and hydrostatic testing, welding/brazing procedure qualifications, configuration control, certificate of compliance, and an ISO 9001 or MIL-I-45208 quality system, with Government quality assurance at source. Award will be issued bilaterally under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities and will be DPAS-rated for national defense, with past performance considered by NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg.
