This solicitation is a total small business set-aside for the manufacture and supply of the VANE, LARGE, a component of the MK 46 Torpedo, with a one-year warranty from delivery. The contract will be awarded bilaterally and is rated DO for national defense under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS). Offerors must comply with detailed design, manufacturing, configuration control, and quality assurance requirements, including inspection per MIL-STD-105 with specified AQL levels. An option provision allows the Government to increase quantity up to a cited percentage within 365 days after award, and pricing should be submitted for this option. Evaluation will be based on the lowest aggregate total price for the total quantity, inclusive of the option provision.
