This is a total small business set-aside for a Navy contract to manufacture a specific stem and disk assembly for a 1.5-inch globe throttle valve, designated as Special Emphasis (Level I) material for use in crucial shipboard systems. The contractor must comply with extensive quality, inspection, testing, and traceability requirements, including a quality system per ISO-9001 and detailed material certifications. Performance of Government quality assurance will be at the source, and the place of performance cannot be changed without authorization. The contract includes a one-year warranty on supplies from the date of delivery and is rated for national defense priority.
