This is a U.S. Navy requirement for the repair of a Motional Transducer, governed by emergency acquisition flexibilities. The contractor must perform a teardown and evaluation within 90 days of receiving the carcass(es) and then submit a firm-fixed price quote for the full repair. The repair work must comply with specific military standards, including MIL-STD-130 for marking and MIL-STD-129 for packaging, and the supplied material must be completely free of mercury contamination. The contractor is responsible for all inspection and testing, and must maintain those records for 365 days after final delivery.
