This is a contract for the manufacture and supply of copper-base alloy continuous castings (UNS C90300) to strict military specifications, designated as SPECIAL EMPHASIS material for use in a crucial shipboard system where failure could be catastrophic. The material must meet ASTM-B505 and ASTM-B824 standards, with detailed requirements for quality assurance, material traceability, certification, and inspection. The contractor must maintain a quality system in accordance with ISO-9001 or equivalent military standards, and government quality assurance will be performed at the destination. A one-year warranty applies from the date of delivery.
