This opportunity is a total small business set-aside for the manufacture and supply of specialized studs, bolts, and fasteners for a crucial shipboard system, designated as SPECIAL EMPHASIS (Level I) material. The contractor must comply with MIL-DTL-1222 and provide a quality system in accordance with ISO-9001, with strict requirements for material traceability, certification, and configuration control. Performance of services will be at the contractor's facility, with Government Quality Assurance at source, and the place of performance cannot be changed without authorization. A one-year warranty from the date of delivery is required, and the contract is certified for national defense under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System. The contractor must also submit a certificate of compliance and provide an additional fastener for each uniquely identified heat/lot of material in each shipment.
