This is a U.S. Navy requirement for the repair of solenoid valves, with all repair work to be performed in accordance with the contractor's approved standards and technical documents. The contractor has 120 days after receiving the carcasses to complete a teardown & evaluation and submit a Firm-Fixed Price quote for the full repair. The requested Repair Turn Around Time (RTAT) for final inspection and acceptance by the Government is 240 days. The resulting contract will be a rated order under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS). If the offeror is not the Original Equipment Manufacturer, they must provide proof of being an authorized distributor.
