This is a U.S. Navy requirement for the repair of an Amplifier Assembly, issued under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities. The contractor must perform a teardown and evaluation within 120 days of receiving the carcass(es) and then submit a Firm-Fixed Price quote for the full repair. The work must comply with strict technical and quality requirements, including that all items be mercury-free for use on submarines/surface ships. The location for the final inspection and acceptance of the repaired assets is to be determined.

Inactive Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

This is a proposed non-competitive, sole-source contract action for the supply of six AM-2318A/WIC Amplifier Assemblies. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source, though all responsible sources may submit capability statements. Deliveries are specified for DLA Distribution locations in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, and Tracy, California. Proposals received within 45 days of the synopsis publication will be considered. Interested parties may also identify their capability to provide a commercial item alternative within 15 days of this notice.
