66--TRANSMITTER,LIQUID, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF
This is a U.S. Navy requirement for the repair of a liquid transmitter, requiring a 69-day repair turnaround time (RTAT). The contractor must perform a teardown and evaluation within 120 days of receiving the carcass(es) and then submit a firm-fixed price quote for the full repair. Offerors must be the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or provide a signed letter of authorization from the OEM if acting as a distributor. The inspection and acceptance point for deliverables is to be determined. The requirement includes specific quality assurance, packaging, and marking standards, and price reductions will apply for failure to meet the required RTAT.
