VALVE,SAFETY RELIEF
This is a U.S. Navy repair requirement for VALVE, SAFETY RELIEF, 6 INCH 347 CRES, under specified CAGE/reference numbers, with repair and quality work performed to contractor standards and Government requirements including inspection, MIL-STD-130 marking, MIL-STD-2073 packaging, and 365-day record retention after final delivery. The Government seeks a Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT) of 137 days and requires firm pricing for receipt and complete repair, with late deliveries subject to per-unit/per-month price reductions unless excusable; quotes must also address capacity constraints, RMA, beyond-repair T&E fees, and new-unit price/lead-time for comparison. Award will be bilateral requiring contractor written acceptance, freight is FOB Origin and handled by Navy CAV or Proxy CAV, and Government Source Inspection is required. The Government intends to add an option quantity at the same unit price, exercisable by written notice within 365 days, with delivery at the same rate unless otherwise agreed, and accelerated delivery is encouraged. Only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer’s item will be considered, and proof of authorization on company letterhead must accompany the offer.
