This solicitation is for the repair of diesel engine governors in accordance with the original manufacturer’s specifications, with marking per MIL-STD-130 and applicable quality, inspection, and packaging requirements. Government Source Inspection is required, and all freight is FOB Origin, with accelerated delivery encouraged. The required Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT) is 110 days, measured from asset receipt at the contractor’s facility to government acceptance, and late delivery may result in price reductions. The resultant award will be bilateral, requiring the contractor’s signed acceptance, and only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer’s item will be considered for award. The government intends to add an option quantity, which may be exercised within 365 days of award under FAR 52.217-6.
