This contract is for a parts kit for a Trash Disposal Ball Valve used in a critical shipboard system, designated as SPECIAL EMPHASIS material (Level I) with stringent quality assurance and certification requirements. It requires compliance with numerous military and industry specifications, including specific material certifications, hydrostatic testing, welding procedure approvals, and traceability. Offerors must have access to classified drawings (CONFIDENTIAL) and a facility clearance may be required upon award. A one-year warranty from date of delivery applies. The Navy will consider past performance in evaluating offers, and the contract will be a DO-rated order under DPAS.
