This Navy requirement is for a special-emphasis, quality-assured O-ring used in a Seal Delivery Vehicle (SDV), where incorrect or defective material could cause catastrophic shipboard or safety consequences. The O-ring must conform to SAE AS3581, P/N AS3581-111, be marked per MIL-STD-130, and use non-metallic materials meeting NAVSEA S9086-AD-SOC-030 toxicity and flammability requirements. It is a total small business set-aside; Government source inspection is not required, and constructive acceptance under the prompt-payment clause is 45 days after delivery. Final delivery of material is required within 210 days, and the contractor must provide a one-year warranty covering 365 days after the last delivery under the contract.
