The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole-source basis under FAR 6.302-1 for supplies or services related to NSN 1H-4730-017336474-D9, TDP VER 002, quantity 3 EA. Delivery is to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard L1SS, Kittery, ME 03904. Responsible sources may identify their interest and capability or submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement, and the Government has discretion not to compete based on responses.

This procurement is for manufacture of a TEE, TUBE TO BOSS in accordance with SSP Fittings Corp P/N S6SRT-SF, designated Special Emphasis material for a crucial shipboard system. The contractor must maintain an ISO-9001 or MIL-I-45208 quality system and comply with configuration control, marking, mercury-free, oxygen/nitrogen cleaning per MIL-STD-1622, and MIL-STD-2073 packaging requirements. Government Quality Assurance is performed at source, with DCMA notification required and the place of performance not changeable without Contracting Officer authorization. The proposed delivery schedule requires certification data CDRLs 20 days before delivery, PNSY review/acceptance within 6 working days after receipt, and final material delivery within 210 days. A one-year warranty applies, running 365 days after the last delivery under the contract.
