This Navy procurement is for 6 EA union nuts used in a crucial shipboard system and designated Level I/SOC special-emphasis material. The nuts must conform to Carleton Technology drawing 1970 002, Item 05, use ASTM-B150 alloy C63200, be oxygen-cleaned per MIL-STD-1330, and meet detailed thread-inspection, welding/brazing, traceability, and certification/OQE requirements. The contractor must maintain an ISO 9001 quality system with calibration per ISO 10012 or ANSI Z540.3 with ISO 17025 and be subject to Government quality assurance at source. Award will be a DO-rated order under DPAS and issued pursuant to Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities. Final delivery of material is due on or before 365 days after the effective date of the resulting contract.
