This is a contract for the manufacture and supply of specialized, high-reliability fasteners (specifically, a 5/8-inch socket head cap screw) that meet military specification MIL-DTL-1222 for use in a critical Navy shipboard system. The material is designated as SPECIAL EMPHASIS (Level I), requiring stringent quality assurance, traceability, and certification procedures, including specific liquid penetrant and ultrasonic testing. Final delivery of the material must occur on or before 365 days after the effective date of the resulting contract.
